Kristy Westbrook Buckley, 70, of Bucks County, PA passed away on June 2, 2020 at Doylestown Hospital due to complications from Multiple Myeloma cancer. She was born to the late Dale and Doris Westbrook, March 6, 1950, in Williamsport, PA. Kristy graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1968 and received a nursing degree from Mercer School of Nursing in 1971.
Kristy was married to Ron Buckley in May 1971, and they lived together in a small apartment in Croydon for 2 years, then Fairless Hills for 3 years before relocating to Warrington. She is survived by her loving husband, Ron, and her three children and their spouses: Shawna and Chris Curran of Yardley, PA (grandkids Morgan and Quin); Liesje and Neal Gantert of Baltimore, MD (grandkids Caitlyn and Paige); and Adam and Colleen Buckley of Bedminster, PA (grandkid Keeley).
Kristy was a loving wife, mother, and TeTe. She was a homebody who loved to plan and host parties for every occasion or for no reason but to gather with loved ones and family. Kristy also loved to travel and enjoyed researching and planning trips for her and Ron and excursions with the grandkids. Each summer, Ron and Kristy took the grandkids, two at a time, for a road trip. They visited lots of fun places with the grands from Vermont, Cape Cod, Chincoteague, to Myrtle Beach. She always says, “I love you to the moon and back.”
A celebration of life service will be held at a future date when friends and family are able to gather together safely. The family wishes that people make a donation and/or give blood in lieu of sending flowers. Charitable contributions can be made to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or to the Village Learning Place.
