 Robert Edwin Durbin

May 22, 1945-April 21, 2020

    Robert passed away and was pronounced dead in his home, in Philadelphia, PA., on April 21, 2020.  He was predeceased by his father, Roy Durbin from Clanton, AL, mother Alice M. (Domingos) Durbin from Lisbon, Portugal and a brother, Jaquim "Jacky" Durbin of Middletown, CT.  He is survived by a son, Shawn Sullivan of Middletown, CT and his granddaughter, Corey Sullivan.  Also,"Bobby", leaves behind four brothers, Gilbert "Buddy" Durbin, Richard Durbin Sr., David Durbin Sr., and Ronnie Durbin as well as a niece and several nephews.
    Robert was born in New York City, and raised in Clanton, AL. He was a veteran of the the US Army, and a member of the "American Legion, Post 88", in the "Fishtown" region of Philadelphia, PA, were he served his community as a "Sergeant of Arms", and later a "Chaplain".
