Barbara Angela Graves passed away April 6, 2020, in King of Prussia, PA.
Born in Cardiff, Wales on August 21, 1944 to Clifford Deering and Beryl (Matthews) Deering
and is predeceased by her sibling, John Deering, and survived by sister Ann Bebbington
Saunders. Barbara moved to Liverpool, England in 1951 where she met and married Alasdair
McKendrick, and is survived by their two children, Andrew McKendrick (Kristyn McKendrick)
and Iain McKendrick. The family emigrated to the United States and in 1972 and settled
into the Detroit metro area. In 1991 Barbara moved to Tucson, Arizona and was remarried
to Henry “Hap” Graves (deceased).
Barbara is survived by her two sons, daughter-in-law, and five grandchildren (Lindsay
McKendrick, Gavin McKendrick, Cameron McKendrick, James McKendrick and Josh
Davis).
Barbara loved the southwest and enjoyed the wildlife and bird watching in her backyard.
Throughout her life Barbara enjoyed her household cats and a wide variety of music - both
in listening and her piano playing.
Barbara earned an Associates Degree and worked as a hairdresser, a medical contract
negotiator in both Michigan and Arizona, and a licensed real estate agent in Tucson.
