Havertown, PA – Patricia “Pat” (Timmins) Follette, 77, formerly of Boothwyn, PA, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at Westgate Hills Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Havertown, late Friday, March 27, 2020 following a battle with lung cancer and COPD.
Born April 11, 1942 in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, Pat was the daughter of the late Elmer Timmins and the late Marjorie Wellemeyer and the stepdaughter of the late Wilbur Wellemeyer. She is survived by her children, Michael Kimmerly and Michelle Kimmerly; her children through her second marriage, Karen (Jim) Musselman, Christy (John) Galbraith, Hugh R. Follette (predeceased); her sister, Rosemary Stassell; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and their children and their families.
Pat was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1960. Throughout her life she enjoyed many things including being silly and laughing, many forms of arts and crafts and had fun dancing to the oldies. However, what she most cherished was being a mom and grandmom and spending time with family and friends.
Under current circumstances, Pat would have wanted everyone to remain safe. As such there will be no services at this time. Out of compassion born from struggle, Pat always wanted to help and advocate for those in vulnerable positions. Because of this her children ask that in lieu of flowers, you honor her memory by donating to the Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County, Providence Animal Center in Media, PA or Surrey Senior Services.
