Christopher John Roselle

April 12, 1956 — March 14, 2020

On Saturday, March 14, 2020, Christopher John Roselle, loving husband and step-father of two
children, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 63 at Riddle Hospital in Media, PA.
Christopher was born on April 12, 1956 in Drexel Hill, PA to Donald and Gertrude (Riccuiti)
Roselle. He received his BA in Speech Communication from Pennsylvania State University while
also being a part of the WDFM Radio and Zeta PSI Fraternity. Chris was well respected and
widely known in the audio visual community across the Philadelphia region, starting his career
as a Broadcast Systems Engineer at QVC where he stayed for almost 23 years before moving on
as an AV Designer for Education Management Solutions, and then as a Design Engineer at both
Whitlock and Diversified. Chris ended his career prematurely at IMS Technology Services as a
Systems Engineer where he specialized in audio/visual integration. Chris married his long time
partner, Karen (Orloski) Roselle on September 17, 2016 taking on the role as step father to her
two sons, Walter and Andrew.
An audiophile to the core, Chris had an unwavering love of music and production with a steady
and resolute passion for collecting and categorizing his collection. As an avid outdoor
enthusiast, Chris loved the outdoors and taking his self modified and hand built tent camper out
with his wife Karen on family trips throughout greater Tri-State region. He loved animals and
constantly frequented and supported his local SPCA where he and his wife rescued their four
cats. Chris also loved spending time with his adopted African Gray parrot, Lexy. He loved being
a step-grandfather and always enjoyed the company of his stepsons and supported them
throughout their adulthood. He will be remembered as an intensely deep thinker, a lover of
poetry and a writer of music and literature with a quick wit, generous smile and a kind and
considerate spirit.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Donald. He is survived by his wife Karen and her two
sons, Walter and Andrew, his mother Gertrude, his sisters Claire and Connie and his several
nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be invited to celebrate Christopher’s life at a date later determined,
given the scope of our current national crisis.
In lieu of flowers, Chris asked to make a donation in his honor to the American Heart
Association.
