Age 90, of Cherry Hill NJ, on December 5 2019, passed away peacefully in nursing care. Robert was born in Phila. PA on November 29, 1929. He was the loving husband of the late Isabella M. Esposito (nee Mayer) of Cherry Hill, to whom he was married for 57 years. He is survived by his sons Alexander Esposito (Amalvia), Christopher Esposito (Amy), step-daughter Donna Israel, step-son Robert Kane (Regina), 8 grand-children: Augustus, Kristen, Jimmy, Dawn, Bobby, Johnny, Samantha, Jason, and several great-grandchildren.
Robert was retired (1992) from the Campbell Soup Co., where he had a career in information systems. He possessed talents for drawing and writing, where he produced 3 short novels and had started a forth book, which was a children's book. He loved to tell a story, enjoyed golf, music, supporting local politics, eating chocolate cake, and especially getting together with friends and family. He was proud of his family's heritage, and of his grandfather emigrating from Italy to start a soda bottling business in South Philadelphia, Primo Gassosa.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service Thursday Dec. 19th beginning 11:00 A,M, at the Esposito family mausoleum in Holy Cross Cemetery, Baily Rd., Yeadon, PA followed by a luncheon at 1:00 P.M. in his remembrance at Filomena's Lakeview Inn, 1738 Cooper St., Deptford NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to the Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, www.cedarrun.org.
