Walter M. Lugowski

 Walter (Wally) M. Lugowski, Jr.

Age 60, died peacefully Saturday, March 9, 2019. Wally was the beloved husband of JoAnn Lugowski (nee Gasparro) for 36 years and devoted and loving father of Michael, Lisa, Christopher, David, Valentina and Alexia and proud grandfather to Jaylee. Wally was the dedicated son of the late Walter and Splendora Lugowski.  He is survived by his sisters, Suzanne DiFelice (John) and Frances Heller (Samuel), sisters-in-law Mary Ann Gasparro, Adele Gasparro, brother-in-law Francis Gasparro (Paula Bevilacqua) and nephews John, Matthew (Regina), Mark (Lauren), Sammy, John, Christopher, Alessandro and Marco.  His life impacted the lives of many people including great nieces and nephews, friends and co-workers.  His beautiful voice filled many theaters and churches.  Always one to tell a good (long) story, he entertained everyone with his wit and charm.  

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation at 9:00 am at St. Bernadette Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill on Friday, March 15, 2019 and the funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 am.  A celebration of life reception will follow the Mass for Wally's family and friends in O’Brien Hall located below the church.  So many memories to share and his stories to tell!
