Ronald R. Higman

 Ron age 71 died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on December 22, 2018. Ron fought a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer for three years.

Ron was the son of Charles and Gladys (Soder) Higman.  Married to Antoinette (Leone) Higman for 45 years.

A graduate of Temple University he received a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. He was a freelance writer (his favorite an exclusive interview with the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders article). He was an award-winning photographer, served in the US Navy. He was a property manager for the Federal Government and Seymore Rubin Associates.

He enjoyed world traveling, Italian lessons, yoga and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his sons Justin (Alison) Higman and Anthony Leone Higman, grandchildren, Nicholas, Alayna, Vincent and Juliana.

He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and great uncle. He was fearless and always optimistic.

Memorial Service will be at Fleisher Art Memorial at 719 Catharine Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19147 on Sunday, January 20th, 2019 from 12 noon till 4:00 pm, with a luncheon at 1:00 pm.
