Celebrating the Life of Jamillah Ashley Sovinski
Jamillah Ashley Sovinski of Philadelphia, PA, age 58, was called and entered through the gates of Heaven on Saturday, October 13, 2018. At the moment of her passing, Jamillah was lovingly comforted by her husband, Tony Sovinski, and her mother Betty Ashley.
Jamillah is also survived by her two exceptionally developing children, Maxumus and Giselle. Their intelligence, wit and glowing courteous personalities will be a lasting tribute to the manner in which Jamillah demonstrated her own life’s skills and graciously passed them onto her children.
Jamillah was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Ashley. Jamillah is also survived by her loving Mother, Betty Ashley and two loving brothers Wali and Gamal.
Jamillah had a lifelong passion for the Arts and Interior Designing, both as a collector and an admirer. Art was a constant component of the joy that Jamillah found in the human spirit of creativity that allowed the mind to expand and embellish life’s treasures through her eyes.
A Celebration of Life, remembering and cherishing Jamillah, will be held in her honor on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 2 PM in “The Rose Garden” at the Bellevue Hotel, 200 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA. 19102 on the 19th Floor. All are welcome. Parking available at the Bellevue Garage. Drinks, Hors d’oeuvres and Plated Meals served.
