On October 1, 2018, age 95. Beloved husband of Frances (nee Mirabelli); loving father of Catherine C. Buss, John William Buss Jr. (Sara), Mari B. Dow (William). Proud grandfather of Lillian Buss Freyer (Tim), Frances Brooke Field (John), Elsa Buss (Jake Wilson), Robert William Dow MD, Claire Buss, JoJo Buss and very proud great-grandfather of John William Field and Rose Virginia Freyer.
Graduate of Georgetown Univer-sity, member of Philadelphia Country Club, recipient of two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star for fighting in the Battle of the Bulge, WWII.
Visitation at 10 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11 A.M., on Friday, October 5, at St. John Vianney Church, 350 Conshohocken State Rd., Gladwyne PA 19035. Contri-butions in his memory to St. John Vianney Scholarship Fund.
