Francis J. Dougherty, Jr. November 26, 1948 - August 18, 2018 In the early hours of Saturday, August 18, 2018, the human journey of Frank J. Dougherty Jr. ended and his spirit returned to the Lord. Over his 69 years with us, Frank led a life of service: serving his country in Vietnam; serving his community through the Main Line Health Credit Union for over thirty years and as finance chair of St. Joseph’s parish; and serving as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Frank’s legacy will endure through his wife of 48 years, Madeline; their children: Shawn (Laura) Dougherty, Jennifer (Brendan) Magee, and Patrick (Joanne) Dougherty, their seven grandchildren, extended family and dear friends. A Funeral Mass for Frank will be held on Thursday, August 23rd at 11:30 AM at St. Katherine of Siena Church (104 S Aberdeen Ave, Wayne, PA). In lieu of a viewing, friends and family are welcome to pay their respects at the church starting at 10:00 AM. Donations in memory of Frank may be made online at Clyde F.
