Wendell C. Matthew

Wendell C. Matthew, age 47, of Philadelphia, PA died July 27, 2017 at Nazareth Hospital Vitas.  He was born on November 19, 1969 to Mr. Franklin Matthew and Ms. Audrey Edwin in the U.S. Virgin Islands.  Wendell grew up in St. Lucia with his grandparents and came to the United States when he was 16 years old. Wendell attended Lower Merion High School and graduated in 1988. he the attended The Automotive Training Center in Exton, PA where he received his certificate in Auto Mechanics. Wendell worked at Bryn Mawr Hospital for many years.

Wendell was known to have a big heart and loved music of all generes.  He was an excellent cook and loved to work on cars.  He had a smile that would light up the room.

Wendell is survived by his fiance Ms. Tarsha Thompson, his father Mr. Franklin Matthew and a half sister Jillian, his mother Ms. Audrey Edwin and a half brother Habib Edwin.

Wendell will be dearly missed.  He will be dearly missed.
