Emily Louise Varano

 Emily L Varano, 87, died June 6, with members of her family by her side. Emily’s life was dedicated to caring for family and friends. She loved to cook and spend summers at the Jersey Shore. Most of her adult employment was for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia at St. Dennis Church, Archbishop Prendergast High School, Holy Cross, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Emily is survived by her children, Joseph, Terrie, Anna; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, whom she was married to for over 50 years. There will be a service 11AM this Friday, June 23rd at St. Joseph’s Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave, Collingdale.
