Charles D. Le Brocq

June 2, 1936 — January 12, 2017

 Charles D. LeBrocq, 80, Lansdale, PA passed away on January 12th, 2017 at his home in Lansdale.  He was suffering from COPD, Lung Cancer, and Bone Cancer.

Charles was born in Philadelphia on June 2nd, 1936.  His parents were John Arch LeBrocq and Katharine Knight Morss. He graduated Abington High School in 1955 and then joined the Navy.    He retired from Standard Press Steel in Jenkintown, PA, and then worked for several jobs before he joined the Walmart Team and retired from Walmart in November of 2016 due to health reasons.  He was a volunteer fire fighter for McKinley and Horsham, Coached softball and football.  He was a Boy Scout leader.  He taught CPR and First Aid with the American Red Cross and was on the Red Cross Disaster Relief Team.
He is survived by his spouse of 57 years, Mary E. LeBrocq, daughter Katharine L. Dwyer, son-in-law Jonathan S. Dwyer, and Granddaughter Kellie Lynne Dwyer.
The Memorial Services will be on Friday, January 20th, 2017 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 500 Main Street, Lansdale, PA 19446 at 11:00 am, and please call on the family between 10:00 am and 11:00am.  A reception will be held at the church following the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that a donation be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center. 
Charles was a lifelong Jokester, an avid Philadelphia sports fan, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all.
